Status Checks for Visa Applications sent to the Ottawa office
We will always endeavour to finalise your application as quickly as possible, in accordance with Australian law and within the Processing Time Standards as stated in the DIAC Client Service Charter.
To assist us in accomplishing this, we ask for your cooperation during the published processing time for the type of application you made. Each time you contact your case officer to check on the status of your application, it will divert their time from the actual processing of your application.
However, if you have any significant information to add to your application or if there has been a material change in your circumstances that might have an impact on your visa application, please notify your case officer as soon as possible (preferably by email or by fax).
